We’re seeking a dedicated Research Assistant to assist with impactful projects at UC Berkeley! Projects range from implementing and evaluating a videogame-supported afterschool program for very young, at-risk adolescents—to testing a hospital staff training program that is designed to prevent violence among adult psychiatric inpatients at Napa State Hospital. Engage in data collection, participant recruitment, and intervention implementation. Make a significant impact on community well-being and public policy.

Responsibilities:

• Support Projects: Assist with videogame-based interventions and hospital staff training.
• Data Collection: Collect and manage research data.
• Participant Engagement: Recruit and retain participants.
• Intervention Implementation: Help implement structured interventions.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Adolescents: Training or experience with early adolescents in school or after-school settings.
• Group Facilitation: Ethical and non-judgmental group facilitation skills.
• Team Player: Effective and cooperative in a team environment.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation to research sites.
