The Council on Criminal Justice invites Professor Jennifer Skeem to serve on an Advisory Committee for a research project on racial/ethnic and gender disparities in the American corrections system. This project expands on the Council’s prior research on the relationship between rates of incarceration and supervision and disparities at a national level. Over the next year, the Committee plans to generate several reports on trends in correctional populations, and the impacts of state reforms on these populations.
